Send 240k USDC to a wrong address ! need help

Hello all,

When I send my USDC from Solana chain to my Binance Sol wallet address, I accidentally got 1 number missing on the address. I figured the transaction wouldn’t go through if the address is invalid. But now the transaction detail shows “Success” and the 240K USDC goes into that address. What should I do now? Is their any way can help me recover it?

I will advice to message the official solana support on telegram

I have never seen mention of an official Telegram channel in the official docs.

:warning: Warning: Telegram and Discord are a haven for people trying to scam you. Never give anybody your seed phrase or private key. Even support officials and admins will never ask for your seed phrase or private key. And never use a wallet app that you have not used before if somebody asks you to. They will fake a real wallet and use the fake wallet to steal all of your tokens.

@emily Unfortunately, once a transaction is sent it is permanent in less than a second and there is no way to undo. If the address is invalid the tokens are lost forever.

Solana has no way to know when you provide an address that doesn’t exist, because that address could have been created offline by some user who has just never connected to Solana before.

I’m so sorry that you lost your tokens!

İf the adress is valid the tokens coukd reverse or revokable ? Especially for the exchanges…i have the same issue a bit different i sent usdt to the solona adress which has not supported for tether at my exchange…do i have any hope for my tethers reverseble or withdrawable for them ?

Btw if exchange added solona and updated it may i my tethers back ? Or its still could have been not accessible ?

No, transactions in Solana are not reversible, they are permanent.

It depends on the exchange. You could get them back, but you might not.

It just depends on how the folks who run the exchange set it up.

Thanks btw my exchange wanted me to time for take a look at it but i told you before they dont support solona networh with usdt but they could access my solona wallet i guess , so does it still revokable/withdrawble for my case?

İ sent my tethers with solona from binance to the unsopported solona network with usdt exchange …

İs there any few hope for me or what could u suggest me …this was my life savings…

If the deposit was successful, and you can see the USDT in the Solana wallet, then the funds aren’t gone and they could be sent back, but you’d have to get the exchange to do it.

The only thing to do is to wait for the exchange to support Solana, or try to get them to give you the private key for the wallet.
